Cause I did it yesterday. It was a very controversial day - 15 degrees Celsius and sunny, but still a lot of ice floating in the water.
The wind was about 5-6m/s and the water was totally flat - perfect conditions to start the season. I used 10,7 Severne Reflex III and Starboard HWR.
Things that I felt:
- The new sail is going really nice, it seems to be not much different from the last year model, but I definitely need more time to test it to the limit.
- I can feel that I have grown up +8kg from the last windsurfing day, it is harder to pump out, but the biggest difference is that even when I pump out equipment is lacking power to keep on planning.
- I haven't forgotten much from the last season. Even though my tacks are slower I managed to do a couple of planning jibes :)
- You have to look out for icebergs, or you can end like Titanic.:)
See you on the water
