RS:X Lithuanian Cup! Back in Nida!

Hey ho guys! Fellows and neighbors!

So, for those who don’t know, right now I have settled in Nida, one of the greatest and most appreciated spots in Lithuania, because it is known for high winds and super duper extra plus chill atmosphere. This time, as it already becomes a tradition, I am participating in RS:X Lithuanian Cup.

What about the competition it self?

Generally, competition started yesterday, but the forecast was not making its job. Why? Well at first, the wind was more or less 0 m/s. Then, we expected some wind rise in the afternoon. But eventually it decreased even more (we thought it was about minus 2 m/s) and at 3 pm we all knew one thing – “no races for today”. So, what we basically did – we just had a great time chilling, laying down on the benches and just talking about all kinds of stuff to kill the time until the judges will cancel the waiting period.

Later that day in the evening we had some water showers all over the place as the pouring rain paid a visit and stayed for the night… Yet, that was not a problem for me and Martynas Juodeška LTU 1 to have a 1 hour tennis session. (and slightly romantic you know.. that rain, 2 people, etc.) It was amazing!

Nevertheless, second day seemed to be tricky but still should have awarded us with some wind and rain. So, we went to sleep with the best expectations for the next day!

Stay tuned,
Arnas Bušmanas
